Queer Invisible Academy

Queer because we question sexualities and genders as we know them ; Invisible because we do not want to embrace policed sexualities and genders ; Academy because we want a new way to create knowledge.

LGBTQ Community Voice and Singing Workshop

Friday 17th of September 2010,
3:45PM at LARC
62 Fieldgate Street
E1 1ES London

Everyone can sing!

Regardless of what we may have been told along the way, regardless of gender, regardless of what training we may or may not have had, regardless of how much we have been silenced, and regardless of whether or not our voice is changing, we all can sing. And singing can be fun, healing, and transformative.

A day of Queer workshops

From 11:30am, Sunday 5th of September,
Chats Palace,
42-44 Brooksby's Walk
Homerton, London, E9 6DF

Queer may not be an identity, it can be a place ; a place where we share our knowledge, create new knowledge, help each other, create new connections and create the queer world that we lack in our everyday lives.

Following the Hakcney Pride, the Queer Invisible Academy is organising a day of queer workshops in Hackney, for queers of all sexualities, genders, colors, class and body types.

Let the real queens and kings in!

Sunday 22nd of August, 3PM, in front of Buckingham Palace

Queer DIY street party and performances !

Opposite the headquarters of the fake royalties the real Queens and Kings will demand entry. We resist the remnants of the imperial past, patriarchy, and all the racist heteronormative ideas attached to them.
